A milestone in Amity's unceasing endeavor for achieving educational excellence is the establishment of the Amity University Uttar Pradesh as a pace setting University. Established through an Act passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and notified by the state Government, the University is committed to providing skills based quality education comparable to the best by international standards. Like all Amity Institutions, the University subscribes to the philosophy of blending modernity with tradition and nurturing talent Amity university is the part of the Amity universe managed by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) a non-profit Registered Trust engaged in promoting education, developing human resource, social welfare and rural development. The moving spirit behind the Foundation is its illustrious Founder Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Chairman of AKC Group of Companies and an icon in the field of education and entrepreneurship. AU has over 45,000 students including postgraduate students . The University offers over 130 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and has developed an extensive network of alumni chapters throughout world.
