Amity Lounge

Hello everybody,
I am a Amity aspirant-have actually got through for the MSc.Forensic Sciences course 2009-11. I will be joining on the July 30th. First of all let me thank the mods for the excellent work on amitylounge.com. i learnt a great deal from this site-more than everything else. But, still there are so many doubts on campus life and hostel facilities-just like any other fresher would have. I would like this forum to help giving such details about Amity University. People can post your doubts-anything from A-Z and fore-runners please help answering them

fine about the doubts i have-can someone help me with the hostel details
1.i have paid for a non-AC room..do PG students get a single room or do we have to share room with others
2.they say one meal costs approx 20rs..is this a mixed cuisine or pure veg
3.does one need to pay anything extra for the wifi services in the campus
4.what all basic amenities are we provided with in the hostel..the invitation letter says a cot,study table,bedsheet&laundary..can someone elaborate please

1. how much does the laundary cost?i wil have a lot of clothes to wash.tats why i am asking
2. does amity's wifi allow torrent download..what all does it block
3. how about vacations..is there a vacation at all or do we have to adjust with our leave.
