Try to keep a phone Index on Lounge..Phone numbers directory of all officials..Departments.. profs...Even numbers of the students who volunteer to recieve calls...This helps guiding freshers..In my view..In amity there is always a confusion on whom to contact for a certain problem & where to contact..There is a all in one place known as Khajan singh for everything

I was about to suggest this, but there is already a list of holidays. But that list is of no help, as it gives only the days when national festivals are there. It would be of no help to a hosteler like you or me, who would want to reserve tickets to go home.

the allowed size of images to be uploaded must be increaed as if the images are related to Science , they need to be in details and must e of good Quality,

Okay, I have several.

1. These forums are buried in the menu. No problem for techies or for those who browse the web a lot, but newbies might not be able to locate them. A huge button on the homepage would do well to bring more people to the community. Notice the homepages of Opera or Firefox. They've removed all content from the homepage except for a HUGE button saying "Download Now". That helps people who don't know much about computers.

2. Sessions don't work across all parts of the site. For example, when I log on to the forums and try to visit My Logic, my status is "Logged Out". I have to login separately to the forums and the main AL website.

3. The forum's upload file dialog doesn't seem to work in Firefox under OSX. The textbox remains empty even when I've selected a file for uploading.

I can think of only these points now. Will post some more later. This site is a great piece of work
